FORMATION OF BG GROUP

BG Group was created organically when Bruno Guélaff and Khalid Kaluti's professional paths crossed in Dubai, UAE some years ago. Both Bruno and Khalid quickly realized after being each other’s clients that combining their award-winning specialties could lead to something quite unique.

The mission was to create a transparent and honest Design + Build construction company that could offer not only the highest quality construction services for residential villas including pools and landscaping but also award-winning design services providing its clients an unparalleled experience as well as end product.

A true full turnkey system designed in-house covering all aspects of a singular residential project from architecture, interior design, pools & landscaping, lighting, as well as furnishings. BG Villas is the culmination of over 35 years of combined experience of the partners in turn offering a true one of a kind service and experience.

KHALID KALUTI

Khalid Kaluti, a visionary entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience, has built a legacy across multiple industries, from hospitality and retail to luxury real estate and construction. His journey spans creating upscale restaurants in the USA., bringing a renowned American fast-food chain to the Middle East, and elevating Dubai’s design and construction landscape.

Starting with landscape contracting, he expanded into villa construction, smart home automation, and luxury interiors, introducing the world-renowned Italian kitchen brand Pedini to Dubai. His collaboration with Studio Bruno Guélaff brought innovative design solutions to the region, while his expertise in real estate development and investment led to the establishment of a high-end real estate brokerage and consultancy.

With a deep understanding of craftsmanship, design, and investment strategy, Khalid continues to shape luxury living with a seamless approach to real estate, construction, and high-end lifestyle solutions.

BRUNO GUELAFF

Bruno Guélaff is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary designer and the creative force behind BG Group in Dubai, UAE.

Born in New York City with French roots, Bruno completed his early education at Lycée Français de New York and earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology in the U.S. His true passion for design emerged after four years of study at the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID), where he discovered his unique niche.

As the first recipient of the B.F.A. Travel Prize, Bruno embarked on an inspiring journey, visiting 15 countries and over 22 cities, an experience that has deeply shaped his distinctive design style.

Following his role as head designer at a prominent New York firm, Bruno returned to Dubai in 2008 to further hone his craft. Today, he leads ‘Studio Bruno Guélaff’ within the BG Group, where he continues to push boundaries in design and creativity.
